The Royal British legion safeguards the welfare, interest and memory of those who are serving or who have served in the Armed Forces. We are Scotland’s largest Veteran’s membership organisation and recognised as custodians and guardians of Remembrance.
Since 1921 The Royal British Legion Scotland worked very closely with Lady Haig Poppy factory organising, distributing and selling poppies throughout Scotland.
After thirty-four years, 1954 The Royal British Legion Scotland saw the need for a welfare fund and assisted in forming Earl Haig Fund Scotland now known as poppyscotland.
Each year the Royal British Legion Scotland and its Women’s section provide their unequivocal support, and commitment towards the Scottish Poppy Appeal. It is one of the best known and supported campaigns in the calendar and The Royal British Legion Scotland are regarded as an invaluable contributor.
